Appliqué Dress Black/Champagne

I had one day to find a formal dress and happened to pop into Penelope’s by chance on my way to Wellington — and I’m so glad I did. The ladies were brilliant: friendly, helpful, and genuinely lovely to deal with. They helped me choose around 10 dresses, along with jackets to match, and kindly offered their opinions when I asked for them — which I definitely appreciated!

After trying everything on, I ended up with two dresses that I absolutely loved. It was so nice to have real choice instead of having to settle for an “okay” dress.
